Megapot is building the world's largest jackpot. It’s unique because liquidity providers fund the initial jackpot like how they create a position on Uniswap. When players buy tickets, they pay fees to LPs, and these fees grow the jackpot.

You can transfer(a.k.a. “bridge”) your funds between networks through exchanges like Bybit, or through bridge DApps like Jumper.

📄 How to be eligible

Method 1: Join the lotto/jackpot

1. Head over to the Megapot website
2. Connect your wallet / Create an account using email or socials
3. Buy tickets: the more tickets, the bigger chances of winning the jackpot, and the more points you can earn NOTE: gamble responsibly. Jackpot draws will be daily.
4. Hope for the best!

Jackpot entrants get 10 Megapoints for every ticket($1 USDC) purchased.

Play consecutive days and earn up to 2.5x Megapoints. If you play on day 1, you'll earn 1.5x Megapoints on day 2, 2x Megapoints on day 3, 2.5x Megapoints on day 4 and after. Streak Megapoints will only show at the end of month when we take a snapshot.

Method 2: Provide liquidity

1. Head over to the Megapot website
2. Connect your wallet / Create an account using email or socials
3. Under the Liquidity page, choose the % risk of your liking (the percentage of the USDC risked for every jackpot round) If you chose the 100% option and someone wins the jackpot, you lose 100% of your deposits. I recommend going 50% at maximum to prevent all your USDC for being wiped out if someone wins the jackpot by chance. The UI recommends using 33%. You can also choose a lower % if you want to play it safer. Jackpot draws will take place daily, but there will only be winners from time to time. (chances of winning a lotto is very low.) NOTE: liquidity deposits only opens once a month
4. Deposit the USDC
5. You earn both points and yield(30% fees for every ticket sold)
6. Hope for the best!

🚀 Author’s notes

This is one of those platforms that have high likeliness of gaining PMF in the long term, that I might actually buy a good amount of tokens once the airdrop gets released.

Jackpots/lottos are something people are interested in but don’t trust because of corruption-related issues.

With open-source jackpot platforms like Megapot, the chances of corruption is eliminated due to the platform being open-source and fully transparent.

But of course, always remember that this is a lotto/jackpot — hence winning will be very difficult.
